A kids’ friendly game of football in a Clinton Township neighborhood caused a fight between one of their parents and a neighbor, who is now facing assault charges.
“When the football came on his property, the homeowner came outside and t...hrew the football down the street,” said Detective Sgt. Kevin Kline. “That’s when one of the parents of the children came outside to confront him and ask why he’d do that.”
“Mr. Allen took (the victim) into a bear hug type grip,” Kline said. “He pulled his face towards his and bit his lip.”
Allen was charged with aggravated assault with intent to maim.

Bulgarian prosecutors are investigating a new gambling game in which drivers defy death by speeding through red lights for bets of up to 5,000 euros. ($7,400)
Known as 'Russian road roulette', the driver must jump red lights at busy intersections at high speed and not crash into any other cars or pedestrians. Onlookers also gamble on the result.
Participants in the 'Russian road roulette' are informed via text messages of the venue for that particular night -- depending on the presence of police.

"One-legged suspect caught with one stolen shoe"

Police said a one-legged suspect was caught after only one shoe went missing in a store in Belgium. An amputee was an immediate suspect when a store attendant found one shoe missing from the shop. Authorities were alerted and quickly found the man who fit the description by shopkeepers. The shoe was also recovered.

German police are investigating a chilli sauce to determine whether it was so spicy that it was capable of causing grievous bodily harm when used in an attack.
Police took a sample of the sauce from a kebab stand in Bremen's central train station after a kebab salesman threw it into the eyes of a customer during a fight over napkins.
